RazerThe Phoenix, AZ-based Razer was formed in early 2000 after the demise of Metal Blade recording act Wardog in late 1999. Eager to begin again fresh, bassist/singer Chris Catero, guitarist Paul Sullivan and drummer Eric Bongiorno decided to throw out their former band’s musical constraints and quickly found themselves back in the practice shed writing new material. These early works shaped into Razer’s first offering, The 11th Hour, a solid transitional recording that was a bridge between where the three had been musically and where they were heading. At the end of these sessions guitarist Jeromy Graves, a lifelong friend of Catero’s, contributed some solo work and rounded out the new act’s line-up. |
